Dr Co is a knowledgeable provider. He said my calves are tight and I needed to stretch them as my main treatment recommendation. I have been stretching for a couple weeks now but my symptoms have not been relieved.
Dr Co also recommended customized orthotics. My main issue (and reason for this review) is with the operation of the front desk. The two ladies in the front desk have explicitly told me that my insurance will not be accepted for the orthotics even though Dr Co does indeed accept my insurance. One of their names is Priscilla. I asked them what do patients with my insurance do when they need to get orthotics? Their reply was simply “They either pay out-of-pocket, or don’t get the orthotics”. That response did not make sense to me because my insurance covers orthotics 100% and the orthotics would cost almost $800 out-of-pocket.
The front desk also required that I had to call my insurance myself and request for authorization, which was very unusual for an office to have a patient do. Nonetheless, I complied and have called my insurance at least five times now regarding the matter. My insurance has openly said this is an unusual case and called the office themselves requesting to submit prior authorization. It has gotten to the point where an involuntary grievance case was opened up given how many times I had to call for this issue. The front desk has blatantly been dishonest. They have said they will call me back to address the issue, but never did. They have told my insurance they will submit the prior off on two separate occasions, and also never did. I’m trying to be understanding here, but this does not seem like appropriate patient care and my lower extremity continues to hurt. I can’t help but wonder if I went to a different podiatrist and gotten a streamlined process of getting orthotics if I would be in less pain now.
Also, they are always closed for lunch, but I know there are two front desk people. From a business standpoint, I imagine staggered lunches with avoid this issue. Just food for thought.

Dr. Co explained the anatomy of the foot and calf to me and gave me a clear diagnosis. He demonstrated expertise and concern for my issue, and I was greatly reassured. I left feeling that I was in the right hands in a professionally-run office.

Dr. Co and his great team got me in for an appointment quickly, gave great care and explanations, and reduced the amount of moving since I was on crutches. Super caring team!!

I was very happy to find Dr. Co on-line and that he could help me with my toe nail problems. I was able to make an appointment on-line and fill out new patient forms by printing out them out on my printer. The staff was very pleasant. I was taken in
to the exam room right away and Dr. Co came in
right away. He looked at my painful big toe and
diagnosed that it was not an ingrown toe nail but hard callous skin that was causing my pain. He removed the callous skin in my big toe and the pain went away. He suggested that if my pain should come back to call him and come in to have
my callous skin removed again. He also suggested that I soak my feet in epsom salt water to soften my calloused skin and toe nails. He gave me samples to use on my feet and called in a prescription to my pharmacy to help me with my
athletic's feet. I have eczema and am highly allergic to many medications. Dr. Co made sure that what he prescribed for me did not irritate my skin. I will call him for my foot needs. Esther L.

Dr. Mark Co worked on my wife’s painful multiple toe problems and she walked out almost pain free. The next morning she was pain free. Thank you , Dr. Mark Co for your great diagnostic skill and correcting a problem which was making my wife miserable and in turn affecting our enjoyment of every day life. Beverly in the front office was terrific as well. It’s rare to have such positive experiences these days. Thank you !!
